Remaining Silent

Unless you know that you are only a victim or a witness, it is best not to say anything. The only thing you should say is that you want to speak to your attorney. Just remember, anything you say tells them something. Even a simple statement can admit that you were at a certain location, know someone, know something etc. I’ve seen so many times where clients thought they didn’t say anything but made significant admissions.
