Another Week . . . Another Dismissal

I was set for a jury trial this week. My client was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and with Traffic of Contraband in a Correctional Facility. I was his third attorney. My most recent predecessor withdrew the week prior to a scheduled jury trial leading my client to hire me. Once I got the video, it became clear that the video did not show what the officer’s claimed that it showed. We were prepared and ready for trial, but the day before it was scheduled I received the news that the prosecutor was dismissing. You can’t win if you don’t fight, and I’m willing to fight.
